Jerry Seinfeld's concert in Knoxville was one of the best of the year. The show started with a great performance of "i'm sorry" by his former band member, 11-year-old boxer, and woman wearing a "i'm sorry" t-shirt. The show continued with some great rock songs such as "i'm sorry" and "we not doing this again. " the stage was set for an emotional performance of "i'm sorry" which also happened to be the first performance of the show's new film, "we not doing this again. Civic Auditorium

We arrived early due to my husband being disabled & using a cane. There were very few handicap parking spaces & even arriving early we had to walk quite a ways. There was no elevator on the side we were at for Jerry Seinfeld concert we were told it was on the hockey arena side as there was also a game going on that same night. We had balcony seats & there was not a handrail in the balcony either to get to our seats on the second row. There was not a restroom in the balcony so we had to go back up balcony steps & then down to the main level. When tickets were purchased we were not told that it was not a handicap accessible facility. We were very cautious but still had a lot of trouble & a couple of stumbles just to get seated & my husband had to hold on to my shoulder to get seated in the balcony. I realize this is a very old building and does not have many amenities but the Auditorium definitely needs to be updated for all disabled patrons and the handicap parking needs to be enlarged. We would give Jerry Seinfeld 5 stars as he was fantastic & funny. But the Auditorium warrants a 1 star for accessibility!
